Muesli
Overnight oats with yogurt, apple, honey and strawberries
A soaked, Bircher-style muesli you stir together the night before. The oats soften in the yogurt overnight and the grated apple keeps it fresh and juicy. In the morning, add the strawberries and breakfast is ready. Any berries work in place of the strawberries.

Method
0/4 doneStep 1: Grate 2 small apples coarsely, skin and all. Grate them just before mixing so they don't turn brown.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine 3 ⅛ oz rolled oats, 1 ⅓ lb low-fat yogurt, the apple, 2 tbsp honey, ¼ tsp ground cinnamon and 1 tbsp toasted pecans or macadamia nuts.
Step 3: Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours, so the oats soften.
Step 4: Just before serving, stir 9 oz strawberries into the muesli. For a thinner mixture, loosen it with ½ cup skimmed milk.
